First Licensed Medical Marijuana E-cigarette Lounge in Northern Ireland
The first legal medical cannabis e-cigarette lounge in Northern Ireland opens, providing a safe and legal option for patients.

According to a report by BBC on November 19, the first legal medical cannabis e-cigarette store in Northern Ireland has opened in Ballyclare.

The e-cigarette lounge "Stay Medicated," currently owned by Allen Robinson, is situated in a high-end café in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. In this establishment, medical cannabis patients openly consume marijuana while enjoying their morning coffee, with 227 members legally permitted to use medical marijuana on the premises.

This initiative provides a safe and legal option for patients who rely on illegal channels to obtain marijuana medication.

According to statistics, between the end of 2018 and 2022, a total of over 140,000 medical cannabis prescriptions were issued by 31 private clinics in the UK. However, in Northern Ireland, less than five patients under the National Health Service (NHS) have been granted qualification for medical cannabis prescriptions.

Denver to Hold Referendum on Flavored Tobacco Sales Ban; If Approved, Enforcement Begins in 2026
A referendum to be held on November 4 will determine whether Denver retains its ban on the sale of flavored tobacco/nicotine products. Campaign finance records show that, as of the end of August, the side seeking to repeal the ban had raised $410,000, significantly more than the pro-ban side (about $245,000). The ban took effect in March 2025, but the city had planned to begin enforcement on January 2026; if the referendum overturns the ban, enforcement will not proceed.
