France to Possibly Ban HHC Products
France's Health Minister indicates a probable ban on HHC-based products in the coming weeks.

France's Health Minister, François Braun, hinted at an impending ban on products containing Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC), a synthetic molecule derived from natural cannabis extracts, within a few weeks.

The statement was made during a conversation with French news radio about the controversial HHC issue. While these products are not currently regulated or banned in France, health authorities in Europe and the U.S. have noticed their increasing availability online and in physical stores. Despite the limited information about their effects, addiction specialists believe they may have similar impacts to Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a core substance in cannabis. Braun referred to HHC as a regulatory loophole needing prompt attention to prevent abnormal sales.
