Germany Bans Marijuana Use in Englischer Garten and Hofgarten
According to Radio Plassenburg, starting this Thursday (May 9), the English Garden in Munich and the Hofgarten Bayreuth will prohibit the use of marijuana.
The new regulations announce that starting on Thursday (9th), "the use and heating of vaporized marijuana products, including e-cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products for this purpose, will be prohibited."
Recently, the Cabinet announced a ban on cannabis use in these two parks, as well as a ban on cannabis during public holidays and beer gardens. However, the latter requires a modification of the law, which will take some time. In response, the Christian Social Union (CSU) and Free Voters Party jointly submitted a bill to Parliament on Tuesday (the 7th) to expedite the process of amending this regulation.
The new regulations should be passed before the summer recess, aiming to limit as much as possible the possibility of using marijuana after partial legalization nationwide.
