India's DRI Seizes 204,000 E-Cigarettes from Mundra Port
Indian intelligence agency seizes over 204,000 e-cigarettes worth $6.02 million at Mundra port. India prohibits their import and export.

The Indian Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized approximately 204,000 e-cigarettes from a container at the Mundra port. The international market value of the seized e-cigarettes is estimated to be around INR 480 million (approximately USD 6.02 million), making it the largest e-cigarette seizure in recent days. India has banned the import and export of e-cigarettes. According to sources from the DRI in Ahmedabad and Surat, a specific intelligence team intercepted two containers. Upon inspection of one of the containers, they found boxes filled with e-cigarettes, totaling 204,000 in number. In the other container, some other goods were falsely declared for import.
