Benget Saragih, the head of the Indonesian Ministry of Health's tobacco-related disease control working group, pointed out that the government has issued Government Regulation No. 28 of 2024 as a specific measure to address the sharp increase in traditional and e-cigarette consumption, particularly among adolescents and children.
