Interview with GOLD BAR: Partnering with TITAN for Joint Exhibition, Plans to Enter US in July
World Vape Show in Dubai featured Gold Bar's plans to expand into the Middle East and launch a new product.

From June 12th to 14th, the World Vape Show took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre. At the exhibition, 2FIRSTS and GOLD BAR co-founder Patrick James Taylor had discussions. Patrick stated that the GOLD BAR brand has not yet officially entered the Middle East market, but they are preparing to expand into the region. Their participation in the Dubai e-cigarette show was to gain a deeper understanding of the market.

Patrick stated that compared to the UK market, the Middle East market is more open in terms of policies and has fewer restrictions. This means that for GOLD BAR, there is a wider scope for growth and more opportunities in the market.

Apart from the Middle East market, GOLD BAR also plans to officially enter the American market in July. To do this, they have specially launched a new product called "24 SEVEN" specifically tailored for the American market. It is worth mentioning that this product does not use the common large screen design found in the market. GOLD BAR explains that they have always believed that the core need of consumers using e-cigarettes is to have a high-quality vaping experience, rather than other additional functions. Therefore, they have decided not to add elements like a large screen to the product in order to ensure its purity and user experience.

At this exhibition, GOLD BAR also jointly exhibited with another emerging brand, TITAN. It is understood that TITAN and GOLD BAR are founded by the same owner, but their product styles are completely different from the gold-themed GOLD BAR. Currently, TITAN only has one product - TITAN 10k. This product has a unique design, with 8 pods of 2 milliliters each, can hold 4 pods at a time, and complies with the requirements of the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD).

Patrick explained that TITAN currently only has one product, but plans to expand its product line in the future.

Singapore Experts warn “vitamin diffusers” are not a healthy alternative to vapes; HSA steps up enforcement

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) recently fined a man found with a vitamin diffuser and reminded the public that imitation tobacco products are illegal. Authorities have a

InterTabac 2025 | Interview with German Vaping Trade Association: Opposition to Flavor and Disposable Bans as Black Market and Compliance Dominate the Agenda
During InterTabac 2025, 2Firsts spoke with the German vaping trade association (Verband des eZigarettenhandels e. V. (VdeH)). The association noted that while Germany’s market continues to grow, the black market may account for nearly half of total volume; disposables are reshaping retail channels. VdeH is firmly opposed to flavor bans and disposable bans, arguing such measures would expand the black market and drive users back to cigarettes.

Dutch Ministry of Finance reports: Dutch tobacco tax revenue stagnates, mainly due to cross-border consumption shift
A report released by the Dutch Ministry of Finance indicates that tobacco tax increases have failed to boost fiscal revenue. The previously projected €7 million in revenue from a 5 cent per pack tax increase has now fallen to zero, primarily due to cross-border cigarette purchases. The current excise tax on cigarettes is €7.81 per pack, with no further increases planned. Tobacco tax revenue is projected to reach €2.5 billion in both 2025 and 2026.
