Jordan Customs Seize Smuggled Cigarettes, Hookah And E-cigarette Products
Jordan customs seize large quantities of untaxed cigarettes, shisha, and e-cigarettes in recent smuggling operation on desert highway.

According to a recent report by Royanews, the Jordanian customs department recently seized a large quantity of untaxed cigarettes, hookahs, and e-cigarette products during a recent crackdown on smuggling operations.

 

The customs department intercepted two trucks loaded with various smuggled goods on a desert highway. The shipment, estimated to have 66 barrels, was declared as sunflower seed oil. Upon inspection, about 1100 liters of e-cigarette liquid were found in 8 of the barrels.

 

The customs department stated that it will continue to focus on and enforce laws and regulations related to smuggling, imposing fines, detaining, and even sentencing smugglers.
