2Firsts, December 11, 2025 — According to Oricon News,Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT) announced that it will partner with two major year-end music festivals in Japan—“COUNTDOWN JAPAN 25/26” (December 27–31) and “FM802 ROCK FESTIVAL RADIO CRAZY 2025” (December 26–29)—and set up special smoking areas at the venues.

 

At these spaces, JT will provide “Ploom LOUNGE” smoking zones for adults aged 20 and above, where both heated tobacco and conventional cigarettes can be used. The lounges are themed “AURA Stardust,” designed to create an immersive, space-travel-like experience. Trial sessions and sales of the Ploom AURA heated tobacco device will also be available on-site.

 

As part of the collaboration, JT has produced limited-edition front panels for the Ploom AURA device—four designs for each festival, eight in total. Users who bring their Ploom AURA device, as well as those who purchase the device at the venue, can exchange their existing panel for a festival-exclusive version at the Ploom LOUNGE.
