JT launches half-price Ploom AURA promotion across online and offline channels
Japan Tobacco (JT) has announced a limited-time promotion on selected standard colors of its heated tobacco device Ploom AURA, running from 8 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. During the campaign, the starter kit price will be cut from 2,980 yen (approximately US$19.20) to 1,480 yen (around US$9.53).

2Firsts, December 5, 2025 — According to Kakaku, Japan Tobacco (JT) has announced a limited-time half-price promotion on standard color variants of its Ploom AURA heated tobacco device during the year-end and New Year season. The company stated that during the campaign, the starter kit price will drop from 2,980 yen (approximately US$19.20) to 1,480 yen (around US$9.53).

 

The promotion runs from December 8, 2025 to January 18, 2026, and the product will be available through the CLUB JT online store, Ploom Shops nationwide, convenience stores, and various tobacco retail outlets.

 

The four standard colors included in the promotion are Jet Black, Rose Gold, Navy Blue, and Luna Silver.

 

JT also noted that its limited-edition color series will not be part of this campaign.

 

At present, Ploom AURA has released three limited-edition colors: Aqua Green, Bronze Royal, and Amber Haze.
