JTI Philippines Receives EY Global Equality Standard Certification
Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Philippines receives EY's Global Equality Standard certificate, achieving the highest score in equal opportunity assessment.

Recently, according to a report from Manilastandard, Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Philippines has been awarded the Global Equality Standard (GES) certification by Ernst & Young (EY), signifying the company's top score in the assessment of equal opportunities.

 

This certificate is awarded to three JTI entities based in the Philippines - the National Market Operations Department headquartered in Taguig City, the Global Business Services Center located in the Manila Metropolitan Area, and the manufacturing factory in Malvar, Batangas province.

 

Previously, the multinational company JTI has been recognized by the global human resources organization, Top Employers Institute, as the second largest employer in the Philippines.

 

EY has acknowledged JTI Philippines' corporate plans, including an analysis that found the company to be fully compliant in integrating equal opportunity within their corporate culture and providing employees with flexible work measures, allowing for remote work for 50% of their time.
