Kazakhstan Police Bust Illegal E-cigarette Operation Worth $30,000
Kazakh Police Seize $30,000 Worth of Illegal E-Cigarettes in Ekeybastuz, Prepare for Nicotine Ban by 2024.

According to Polisia.kz, on February 10, the Kazakhstani police seized 2500 illegal e-cigarettes in Ekibastuz, worth approximately 18 million tenge ($30,000).


According to reports, the suspect used popular communication software and social media platforms to set up an online store selling e-cigarettes. The suspect is currently under investigation by the police for allegedly engaging in the illegal sale and distribution of e-cigarettes.


The police warn that starting from June 20, 2024, Kazakhstan will ban the sale of e-cigarettes containing nicotine and their related e-liquids.
