According to Hankooki on February 19th, KT&G announced on the same day the official launch of their new cigarette product "Raison Ionia Mystic Purple" in convenience stores nationwide. "Raison" is a representative cigarette brand released by KT&G in 2002.
The new product contains 0.1mg of tar and 0.01mg of nicotine.
KT&G had already launched the "Raison Ionia Mystic Purple", "Ocean Blue", and "Summer Red" products as duty-free exclusives back in November 2024.
The head of KT&G's domestic brand team, Song Seung-cheol, stated, "Among the duty-free exclusive product 'Raison Ionia Mystic Purple,' consumer satisfaction with 'Mystic Purple' was the highest, so we have decided to officially launch it in convenience stores nationwide. We will continue to introduce more products that meet consumer needs and trends to increase brand satisfaction.
