KT&G SKOPF Awards: Youngest Winner Creates Record
Lee Sun, born in 1997 and a recent graduate of Hong Kong University, becomes the youngest winner of "14th KT&G SKOPF Photographer of the Year.

According to a report by Newsinside on December 26, this year's "14th KT&G SKOPF Photographer of the Year" Lee Sun has set a new record as the youngest winner in the history of the competition. Born in 1997, Lee Sun recently graduated from the University of Hong Kong. He will receive an additional funding of 27 million Korean Won to organize his own photography exhibition and publish a photography book, among other things.

 

KT&G, as a multifaceted cultural arts space, has consistently provided support within the art community and is dedicated to supporting the local community. Since 2008, it has nurtured exceptional Korean photographers such as Roh Soondae through its SKOPF program.

 

A spokesperson from KT&G has stated, "We will contribute to the continuous development of the cultural and artistic community by supporting projects in diversified fields such as photography, film, music, and more.
