Malta warns AUPO 2000 Puffs e-cigarette over high nicotine levels
Malta's Ministry of Health issues warning on AUPO 2000 Puffs e-cigarette, citing excessively high nicotine levels and misleading labeling. The product lacks essential information on nicotine content and concentration, increasing health risks for consumers.

Malta's Ministry of Health issued a warning regarding an e-cigarette product due to its high nicotine content, According to the Times of Malta on November 4.

 

The e-cigarette, named AUPO 2000 Puffs, was identified by the ministry as containing an “excessive” amount of nicotine e-liquid.

 

Authorities stated that the product's labeling is misleading, lacking essential information about nicotine content, concentration, and delivery dose, making it difficult for consumers to make safe, informed choices when using it.

 

The Ministry of Health advised consumers to regularly check the "Safety Gate" online platform to ensure that a product has not been listed as hazardous.
