Man Arrested for Smuggling E-cigarettes in Argentina without Permission

An Argentine man was arrested in Misiones for smuggling 251 e-cigarettes without customs clearance, valued at $26,000.

According to Noticiasdel6, on May 10th, a man in Misiones Province, Argentina was arrested for smuggling an e-cigarette without customs permission.

The man transported a total of 251 e-cigarettes of various brands without customs permission. Customs estimated the value of the confiscated e-cigarettes to be approximately 23 million pesos (26,000 US dollars).

Currently, the man has been detained and customs have seized the e-cigarettes and other related items.

Revenue rose 18.3% year over year to ¥947.2 billion, with adjusted operating profit up 27.8% to ¥279.0 billion (+20.8% at constant currency) and net profit up 29.7% to ¥176.7 billion.
