New Year Sale: Get IQOS ILUMA with 3,000 yen Discount
Philip Morris Japan is hosting a "[Max Discount 3000 yen] New Year Sale!" event, offering discounted prices for IQOS ILUMA devices.

According to a report by Kakaku, Philip Morris Japan is currently running a "[Up to 3000 yen Off] New Year Discount!" campaign, offering discounted prices for IQOS ILUMA. The campaign will run from January 19th to February 19th. During this period, the IQOS ILUMA series of heated tobacco products will be sold at a maximum discount of 3000 yen.

Bangladesh’s new government has approved a broad tobacco control amendment that bans tobacco advertising, promotion and display across print, electronic, digital and social media, entertainment platforms and points of sale. Revised Tobacco Business Act to Take Effect in South Korea, Banning Online Sales of Liquid Vapes
South Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare will implement a partial revision of the Tobacco Business Act on April 24. The scope will expand from products made with “tobacco leaves” to all products manufactured with natural or synthetic nicotine. Synthetic nicotine liquid e-cigarettes, which had previously been treated as industrial products and were freely sold and advertised online, will from April 24 be subject to the same regulations as ordinary tobacco products.

Nebraska weighs child-safety lock requirement for vapes sold in the state
Nebraska lawmakers heard testimony on LB1254, which would require electronic smoking devices sold in the state to include built-in child safety features. Violations would be a Class IV misdemeanor carrying a fine of up to $500. Supporters argued young children can easily activate unprotected devices by inhaling, risking exposure to nicotine and other toxic chemicals, and said safeguards should mirror child-resistant measures used for medications and other household products.
