New Year Sale: Get IQOS ILUMA with 3,000 yen Discount
Philip Morris Japan is hosting a "[Max Discount 3000 yen] New Year Sale!" event, offering discounted prices for IQOS ILUMA devices.

According to a report by Kakaku, Philip Morris Japan is currently running a "[Up to 3000 yen Off] New Year Discount!" campaign, offering discounted prices for IQOS ILUMA. The campaign will run from January 19th to February 19th. During this period, the IQOS ILUMA series of heated tobacco products will be sold at a maximum discount of 3000 yen.

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) reported net sales of DKK 2.4 billion for Q3 2025, in line with last year. EBITDA before special items reached DKK 519 million with a 22.0% margin. Handmade Cigars and Next Generation Products saw organic growth, while Machine-Rolled Cigars and Smoking Tobacco declined. The company narrowed its full-year guidance.

BAT has partnered with the Channel Islands Co-operative Society and Yoti to pilot facial age estimation in 10 Coop stores across Jersey. Customers scan a QR code and take a selfie; the system instantly deletes the image and returns only a yes/no against a minimum age threshold (set at 20) for the pilot.
