Owner of Bargain Land Convicted for Selling Illegal E-Cigarettes
The owner of UK discount store Bargain Land has been fined £2,400 for illegally selling disposable e-cigarettes to minors.

In a news report on November 8th, it was revealed that the proprietor of a discount store, Bargain Land, in the UK has been convicted for selling illegal disposable e-cigarettes to minors. As a result, they have been fined and ordered to pay a total of £2,400 in fines and compensation. Additionally, the company's director, Mugshood Dudhwala, has been mandated to pay £860.

The local trade regulatory agency has initiated an investigation after parents reported that their children purchased e-cigarettes at a town center store. It is not permissible for anyone under the age of 18 to purchase any nicotine-containing products, yet a 16-year-old volunteer was able to buy a disposable e-cigarette at the store.

It is worth noting that the nicotine content of this particular e-cigarette is five times higher than the standard for e-cigarettes in the UK.
