Philippine Customs Seizes 200 Marijuana E-cigarettes at Clark Port
Philippine authorities seized around 200 e-cigarettes containing marijuana at Clark International Airport from a shipment labeled as home decor.

According to a report from Sun Star on August 30th, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) at the Port of Clark and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized approximately 200 e-cigarettes containing marijuana on Thursday (29th).

The Philippine customs bureau stated that the shipment had arrived at the Clark International Airport from the United States.

The customs bureau added that these items were labeled as home decorations and were being shipped to the city of Cebu. However, upon X-ray scanning, it was discovered that the packaging boxes actually contained e-cigarette devices purported to contain marijuana flavoring.

The Clark Port customs confiscated the items worth 350,000 pesos ($6229) and handed them over to the anti-narcotics agency. The customs bureau will investigate the identity of the recipient and impose penalties.
