PMI Launches VEEV NOW and VEEV ONE in Malaysia
Philip Morris International (PMI) launches disposable and refillable e-cigarette products at IQOS stores in Malaysia.

On April 10th, 2FIRSTS learned from a Malaysian e-cigarette distributor that Philip Morris International (PMI) has stocked disposable e-cigarette product VEEV NOW and cartridge-based product VEEV ONE in Malaysia at their IQOS specialty store.

Disposable product VEEV NOW comes in 9 flavors, available in both 2ml and 5ml e-liquid versions. The 2ml version allows for 500 puffs and is priced at 16 ringgit (approximately $3.30), while the 5ml version allows for 1800 puffs and is priced at 24 ringgit (approximately $5). According to materials displayed on-site by 2FIRSTS, all flavors except for one mint flavor have a nicotine concentration of 1.8%, while the mint flavor has a nicotine concentration of 3.5%.

The VEEV ONE disposable product offers 5 different flavor options and comes with exclusive pods containing 1.8% nicotine concentration in 2mle-liquid, providing users with approximately 2000 puffs. However, it is worth noting that the fine print at the bottom of the promotional materials states that the battery capacity and duration of inhalation for the new manufacturing equipment is based on 2 pods and 1 second of inhalation.

The price of this product is 39 Ringgit (approximately $8.20), while a pack of two VEEV ONEpods is sold for 24 Ringgit (about $5).

According to the informant, customers can receive free engraving services when purchasing VEEV series products at IQOS stores. He also mentioned that this product line has been on the market for two weeks.

 

It is worth mentioning that PMI launched its vape VEEV series in Germany on Monday (April 8th). The disposable version is priced at 7.90 euros, while two refill pods for the reusable system are sold for 8.90 euros. PMI also introduced a promotional offer in Germany where users who purchase three disposable e-cigarettes can receive a free VEEV charging edition.
