PMI Named Global Top Employer for Eighth Consecutive Year
Philip Morris International named global top employer for eighth consecutive year, according to Summa Magazine on February 20.

According to a report by Summa magazine on February 20th, Philip Morris International has been recognized for the eighth consecutive year as a "Top Employer" globally by the Top Employers Institute, due to its ongoing commitment to employee development and welfare.

 

This survey covers 20 themes in six areas including talent strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity and inclusivity, and happiness.

Imperial Brands said it will gradually close the Reemtsma factory in Langenhagen near Hanover by 2027 after efforts to find a buyer failed to produce a sustainable agreement. Kentucky Governor Signs Tobacco, Nicotine, and Vapor Product Licensing Bill Into Law
A Kentucky bill relating to tobacco, nicotine, and vapor product licensing was signed by the governor on April 10, 2026, and enacted as Acts Chapter 70.
