PMI Named Global Top Employer for Eighth Consecutive Year
Philip Morris International named global top employer for eighth consecutive year, according to Summa Magazine on February 20.

According to a report by Summa magazine on February 20th, Philip Morris International has been recognized for the eighth consecutive year as a "Top Employer" globally by the Top Employers Institute, due to its ongoing commitment to employee development and welfare.

 

This survey covers 20 themes in six areas including talent strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity and inclusivity, and happiness.

Philip Morris Korea to Launch IQOS Iluma i One “Electric Purple” Color, Expanding Into Major Convenience Store Channels From May
Philip Morris Korea said on March 31 that it will begin selling the new “Electric Purple” color for the heated tobacco device IQOS Iluma i One at major convenience stores nationwide in South Korea starting May 2. The color will first be introduced on April 10 at the official IQOS online store and nine IQOS directly operated stores nationwide. To mark the expansion of its sales channels, the company will run promotions at major convenience stores through May 20.

The FDA has added Glas products to its authorized electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) list, granting Marketing Granted Orders (MGOs) to the Glas G DEVICE and a BLONDE TOBACCO pod. The decision expands the number of FDA-authorized ENDS products to 41, marking the first new authorization since Juul’s approvals in July 2025. However, widely anticipated non-tobacco flavored products were not approved.

The report says South Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (referred to as the finance ministry) will directly lead crackdowns on illegal distribution and “upward manipulation” of nicotine concentrations in liquid e-cigarettes, after cases of extremely high-strength nicotine liquids circulating at retail shops were highlighted.

Alexander Tolmachev, deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, said the issue of licensing vape circulation will be resolved at the legislative level in the coming months.
