The government is finalising a Cabinet paper and reviewing current controls. Public health groups back the move, while industry bodies warn a blanket ban could drive the trade underground. The vape market has grown rapidly, and cross-border links with Singapore—where enforcement has intensified—are drawing scrutiny.
