Polish Customs Seize Over 1600 Illegal E-Cigarette Products

Polish customs officials seized over 1600 untaxed e-cigarette products in Lublin, leading to a criminal tax investigation.

According to a report from lublin112 on August 1st, Polish Lublin customs officials seized over 1600 untaxed e-cigarettes and their e-liquid products.

According to reports, customs authorities discovered these illegal products in an online store operated by local residents. In this operation, a total of over 1600 disposable e-cigarettes and related e-liquid products were seized. The local resident is a 39-year-old man, and the customs office has now initiated a criminal tax investigation, which is being conducted by the Lublin Customs Office in Biała Podlaska.

At the same time, the National Taxation Bureau reminds the public that any e-liquid used for e-cigarettes, as long as it is sold at stores or other points of sale for tobacco products and their substitutes, must pay consumption tax and display a tax label.
