Hainan Daily reported that the Anti-Drug Office of Qionghai City launched a drug prevention campaign targeting entertainment establishment staff.

According to a recent report by Hainan Daily, the Anti-Drug Office of Qionghai City, in collaboration with the Qionghai City Committee for Political and Legal Affairs, the Qionghai City Public Security Bureau, the Qionghai City Social and Health Center, the Qionghai City Dermatology Center, and the Chengbei Police Station, has initiated a drug prevention education campaign with the theme of "Preventing the Abuse of Methcathinone" specifically targeting entertainment venue staff in the urban area of Jiaji Town.

 

During the event, the staff involved promoted and guided venue personnel to pay attention to the "China Anti-Drug" and "Hainan Anti-Drug New Media" official accounts, hoping that these employees can gain a more comprehensive and intuitive understanding of drug prevention knowledge through these channels.

 

During the explanatory session, the staff of the Narcotics Control Office in Qionghai City provided a detailed interpretation of the origin and dangers of relying on methamphetamine, as well as real cases involving the abuse of "Up High" e-cigarettes relying on methamphetamine. They utilized case analysis through examples of the use of "Up High" e-cigarettes to enhance drug prevention awareness among the audience and discussed strategies on how to prevent the widespread abuse of methamphetamine.

 

In addition, the event also reinforced measures for preventing HIV/AIDS. Staff members from the Qionghai Skin Health Center conducted blood tests on individuals working in bar establishments with the aim of enhancing and maintaining the awareness of their physical well-being.
