On Jan. 7, local time, 2FIRSTS frontline staff of the Washington News Center took advantage of the opening of the CES in the famous "Sin City" Las Vegas to visit a marijuana store near downtown and learn about the local market.
There is no security check at the door, but identification is needed to confirm the customer is over 21. Like New York's first recreational marijuana dispensary, the store has a one-on-one service model where each person can purchase up to one ounce (about 28 grams) of marijuana products.
The store has been doing charity since 2015 and has donated over 2,800 meals to the US Food Bank to date.
