Singaporean Teen Arrested for Selling E-Cigarettes to Minors
An 18-year-old man was arrested for attempting to sell an e-cigarette to a 13-year-old boy at a playground in Geylang.

According to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) in Singapore, an 18-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to sell an e-cigarette to a 13-year-old boy at a playground in Bedok Reservoir.

 

The police have seized over 700 e-cigarettes and related components worth approximately $15,400 from the residence of this man. The Health Science Bureau has issued a warning, stating that stringent enforcement action will be taken against illegal activities, particularly the sale of prohibited e-cigarettes to the public, teenagers, and students.

Philip Morris Korea said on March 31 that it will begin selling the new “Electric Purple” color for the heated tobacco device IQOS Iluma i One at major convenience stores nationwide in South Korea starting May 2.
