Interception of Illegal Cigarettes Smuggled from Singapore
Indonesian marine patrol successfully seizes 62.5 million illegal cigarettes smuggled from Singapore to the Riau Islands.

According to Batampos, the Indonesian Marine Patrol Team of the Sorat Detachment has successfully intercepted a shipment of illegal cigarettes smuggled from Singapore. These cigarettes were intended to be smuggled to the Liao-ne Islands. According to Ardhan, the Public Relations Officer of the Kanwil DJBC, on Tuesday (November 28th), these illegal cigarettes varied in quantity and brand, totaling 625 boxes or approximately 62.5 million illegal cigarettes.
