According to the UK Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), the agency is leading a new campaign to raise awareness among young people about safety issues with using, charging and disposing of vapes. The campaign aims to encourage simple, practical habits to reduce the risk of battery fires, injuries and environmental harm.

 

OPSS said resources are available for local authorities, community groups and the public, including a toolkit, poster and social media materials.

Philip Morris International’s second-quarter net revenues rose 10.4% to a record $11.19 billion, as heated tobacco and e-vapor expanded across international markets.
