UWELL Launches Viscore 8000 in UK with '2+10' Design and Replaceable Pods
UWELL's latest vape product, the Viscore 8000, has debuted in the UK market. The device features a "2+10ml" pre-filled e-liquid design and a 1900mAh high-capacity battery. It is now listed on UWELL's official website and UK vape distributor platforms, currently in the "coming soon" phase.

Recently, 2Firsts observed that the vape brand UWELL has launched a new product in the UK market, the Uwell Viscore 8000, featuring a "2+10" modular design. The product is now listed on UWELL’s official website and UK vape distributor platforms and is currently marked as "coming soon."

The standout feature of the Uwell Viscore 8000 lies in its modular design, allowing users to easily replace the 2ml pre-filled pods and refill the 10ml e-liquid reservoir for convenient flavor switching. Its 1900mAh high-capacity battery also ensures extended usage time.

According to the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) e-cigarette database, various flavor variants of the Uwell Viscore 8000 were registered between November 13 and November 15.

In September, 2Firsts published a detailed overview of another product in the Uwell Viscore series, the Uwell Viscore S40000, in the article "Product Roundup: New 40,000-Puff Disposable E-Cigarettes in the US, Puff Count Race Intensifies". With the addition of the Uwell Viscore 8000, the Viscore series now includes three products: the Uwell Viscore 8000, Uwell Viscore S40000, and Uwell Viscore C30000. All three devices are equipped with high-capacity batteries but do not feature the large screens popular in the current market.

The Uwell Viscore 8000 is still in the "coming soon" stage on UK distributor websites, and pricing details have not yet been disclosed.

China’s Vape-Related Exports Rose 4.5% in Q3 2026 as 21.6% Growth in Shipments to the UK Offset a Decline in Shipments to the US
China's vape-related exports rose 4.5% year over year to $2.86 billion in the third quarter of 2026, led by stronger shipments to the United Kingdom as exports to the United States declined. UK-bound shipments increased 21.6%, adding $81.9 million, while US exports fell 5.2%, or $53.6 million. Growth weakened through the quarter, with September exports down 6.3% globally and 37.8% to the US. Nicotine-containing vape products accounted for more than 82% of the quarterly net increase, while device exports were nearly flat. Nine-month exports totaled $7.82 billion, up 4.0%.

NAS 2026 | FDA CTP Director Says PMTA Pathway Is “Predicated on Tobacco Harm Reduction”
At the 2026 New Approaches Summit in New York, FDA Center for Tobacco Products Director Bret Koplow said the PMTA pathway is “predicated on tobacco harm reduction.” He outlined four CTP priorities: youth prevention, helping adults quit or switch to lower-risk products, improving relative-risk communication, and reducing unauthorized products. Koplow also addressed flavored e-cigarettes, public risk perceptions, industry credibility and efforts to make PMTA reviews more efficient and predictable.

FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products detailed new PMTA review data and process changes at the 2026 FDLI conference. Pending PMTAs fell from about 450,000 at the start of 2025 to 135,000 by September 2026. CTP also discussed its 180-day review goal, current sPMTA pilot, alternate-supplier planning, more than 50,300 pending SE reports, and lessons from the nicotine pouch pilot already being applied to ENDS review.

Iowa Sets November 16 Vape Directory Launch: Unlisted Products Face Sales Ban, Manufacturers $1,000 Daily Fines per Product
Iowa plans to publish its first vapor products directory on November 16, 2026, after which products not listed will be prohibited from sale or offer for sale in the state. The Department of Revenue expects to begin penalty enforcement on December 17, following an initial 21-business-day period focused on compliance education. Under House File 2677, retailers, distributors and wholesalers selling unlisted products face civil penalties of $300 per product per day, while manufacturers face $1,000 per product per day. Eligibility extends to FDA-authorized products and certain products meeting historical marketing and pending PMTA requirements. The directory program resumed after a federal appeals court vacated a preliminary injunction in July 2026.

South Korea Constitutional Court Upholds Volume-Based E-Liquid Tax, With Challenged Rates at KRW 370 and KRW 628 per Milliliter
South Korea's Constitutional Court has upheld fixed taxes on nicotine-containing e-cigarette liquids based on solution volume, ruling that challenged provisions imposing KRW 370 per milliliter in individual consumption tax and KRW 628 per milliliter in tobacco consumption tax do not violate the Constitution. The cases stemmed from historical disputes involving importers that reported nicotine as being extracted from tobacco stems rather than leaves. South Korea has since broadened its tobacco definition to include synthetic nicotine, while current tax laws provide reduced rates for certain products not derived from tobacco.
