Vape Aware™ Launched in UK to Check Vape Test Results
Inter Scientific launches Vape Aware™ platform in UK to enhance e-cigarette industry transparency and consumer safety, supported by CTSI.

According to the news distribution website Ein Presswire on May 9th, the UK analysis and regulatory services company Inter Scientific has announced the launch of the Vape Aware™ platform, designed to enhance transparency in the e-cigarette industry and help ensure consumer safety.

Vape Aware™ is a website that publishes analysis test results of e-cigarette products being sold in the UK market. The first phase of the website being launched today will help law enforcement agencies and public bodies identify illegal products by providing a single source database for trade standards, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

The launch of the new website has received support from the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI). This professional membership organization represents trading standards officials from across the UK, responsible for enforcing regulations on e-cigarette products, the 2016 Tobacco and Related Products Regulations (TRPR), the conversion of the UK's Tobacco Products Directive 2014/40/EU (TPD), and the portal was jointly developed with CTSI.

Kate Pike, Chief Executive Officer of CTSI e-cigarette, stated, "Trade standard officials welcome the test results of e-cigarette products seized by Vape Aware to support our efforts in combatting illegal e-cigarettes.

Ensuring the safety and compliance of nicotine products is crucial for protecting public health. Illegal e-cigarette products may pose risks to health, with reports indicating some products contain high levels of toxins, including heavy metals. These products evade regulation and have not undergone safety assessments by regulatory agencies.

The Chief Executive Officer of CTSI e-cigarettes, Marsha Bell, commented, "This will help us maximize our resources, save officials' time, and ensure that all officials benefit from increased product knowledge.
