
According to Naver, a South Korean media outlet, on November 7th, KT&G Corporation held the "6th Imagine Summit" in Seoul. The summit aimed to stimulate the social entrepreneurship ecosystem. The event invited experts and young entrepreneurs from various industries, with approximately 150 young individuals aspiring to become social innovation entrepreneurs in attendance.
KT&G Company has been hosting an annual "Imagination Summit" since 2018 to explore solutions to the societal challenges we face from the perspective of social innovation.
Furthermore, KT&G has been operating the "Imagination Entrepreneurship Camp" since 2017 to search for social innovation entrepreneurs. This initiative has won the "Social Enterprise Cultivation Achievement" award from the Minister of Labor in 2019, the "Social and Economic Contribution" award from the President in 2021, and the "Job Creation Achievement" award from the Minister of Labor in 2022.
