Azerbaijan Increases Tax Rates on Disposable E-Cigarettes and Tobacco
Azerbaijan increases consumption tax on disposable e-cigarettes, water pipes, and their substitutes, affecting prices significantly.

According to a report by Trend News Agency on January 1st, Azerbaijan is raising the consumption tax rates on disposable e-cigarettes, hookahs, and their alternatives. The tax per unit will increase from 0.25 manats (approximately 1.05 yuan) to 2 manats (approximately 8.4 yuan). Additionally, the consumption tax on small cigars will rise from 43 manats per 1000 units to 45.5 manats (approximately 189 yuan), while cigarettes and their alternatives will see an increase from 38.5 manats per 1000 units to 45.5 manats (approximately 189 yuan).
