However, there was a year-on-year decrease of 8.29%. This data indicates a break in the continuous decline of monthly export figures since May of this year.
Total Export Amount Rises against Trend
According to the data obtained, China exports e-cigarettes to a total of 125 countries, with the largest export revenue going to the United States and the smallest to Singapore.
In September, the trade partners that have been added include Djibouti, Benin, Macau China, Reunion Island, Guinea, Senegal, Madagascar, Curaçao, Marshall Islands, the Bahamas, and El Salvador.

Trade partners that have decreased include Zimbabwe, Taiwan (China), Zambia, Mauritania, Mozambique, Mali, Angola, Papua New Guinea, Venezuela, Tunisia, and American Samoa.

In terms of e-cigarette exports, China's total e-cigarette exports in September amounted to 898 million US dollars, showing a monthly increase of 2.36% compared to the previous month's 877 million US dollars, but a year-on-year decrease of 8.29%. This also marks a halt to the continuous decline in monthly e-cigarette exports since May 2023.
According to the data, the top 20 countries in terms of export volume in September were as follows: the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Russia, Malaysia, Canada, Croatia, the Philippines, Australia, Japan, Poland, France, the United Arab Emirates, Paraguay, Hungary, Spain, Indonesia, and Belgium.
US Remains Top Exporting Nation, Share Slightly Decreased
In September, China's e-cigarette exports to the United States reached $256 million, while exports to Belgium stood at $8.26 million. The top twenty export countries accounted for 88.08% of the total export value, marking a 1% increase from the previous month's 87.08%.

Among the top five exporting countries, China's proportion of exports to the United States decreased by 0.27% compared to the previous month, while its proportion of exports to South Korea decreased by 0.08%. Additionally, China's proportion of exports to the Netherlands decreased by 0.56%. However, China's proportion of exports to the United Kingdom increased by 1.08% compared to the previous month, and its proportion of exports to Germany increased by 1.81%.
Disposables are Main Categories of Exports
In the e-cigarette export industry, products belonging to the two main categories mostly consist of non-combustible, nicotine-based items that do not involve tobacco or reconstituted tobacco. These products account for a significant portion, reaching 77.72% of the total. This category primarily includes nicotine-containing disposable products, closed pod systems, and bottled e-liquids.

E-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices account for 22.28% of the market share. This category primarily includes tobacco-free smoking products, e-cigarette accessories, and other related products.
