Discount Promotion for BAT Japan's New GLO Hyper Pro Device

According to a report from Kakaku on March 31st, BAT Japan is holding a discount promotion for its new heated tobacco device "Glo Hyper Pro" until March 31st. During the promotion, "Glo Hyper Pro" will be sold at a special price of 2,980 yen, which is a discount of 1,000 yen from the manufacturer's suggested retail price of 3,980 yen.

According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare’s National Drug Strategy Household Survey, daily smoking among Australians aged 18 and over fell to a record low of 5.8% in 2025. South Korean electronics component supplier ITM Semiconductor is reshaping its business portfolio after a decline in Apple-related protection circuit business, expanding its supply of vape devices and cartridges to KT&G. According to News1 on August 18, 2026, ITM’s vape-related revenue rose 24.8% year on year to 75.5 billion won in the first half of 2026. The company began mass production of vape devices at its Cikarang, Indonesia facility in January 2026, strengthening export manufacturing capacity. Meanwhile, Samsung-related protection circuit sales continued to grow, providing support during the transition.
