Eve Energy's Subsidiary Receives over HK$95 Million Cash Dividend from Smoore International

Eve Energy's subsidiary receives over HK$95 million in cash dividend from Smoore International, with no impact on 2024 profit.

Eve Energy announced on the evening of June 19th that its wholly-owned subsidiary, EBIL, holds 1.902 billion shares of Smoore International. As of the announcement date, EBIL has received a cash dividend of HK$95.076 million from Smoore International.

The company accounts for its long-term equity investment in Smoore International using the equity method, and the dividends received will have no impact on the net profit of the company for the 2024 consolidated financial statements.

U.S. President Donald Trump has chosen White House health policy aide Heidi Overton to lead the Food and Drug Administration, Bloomberg reported, citing a person familiar with the matter. Overton currently works on health policy at the White House and previously held a senior role at the America First Policy Institute. If confirmed by the Senate, she would take over an FDA that has experienced months of senior-level turnover. China’s vape exports to the U.S. reached approximately $1.58 billion in the first half of 2026, remaining broadly stable from a year earlier but still below previous growth momentum. 2Firsts’ analysis of China Customs data shows that the U.S. market has not simply returned to its previous trajectory after the enforcement shock and inventory-driven swings of 2025. Instead, export momentum is shifting across product categories. Vaping devices and atomization hardware increased 15.2% year over year, while 6-methyl nicotine-related and other nicotine substitute products surged 234.7%. Meanwhile, traditional nicotine-containing vaping products continued to face pressure.
