FDA to host webinar to celebrate 10th anniversary of "The Real Cost" youth tobacco prevention campaign on June 11.

According to a recent announcement on the official website of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the FDA will be hosting a webinar on June 11th from 3:00 to 4:15 pm EST to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the award-winning "The Real Cost" youth tobacco prevention campaign.

The speaker will discuss the impact of tobacco use on adolescents and the importance of public education in regulating tobacco products comprehensively at this conference. They will also emphasize the adaptability of the event, successful case studies, future prospects, as well as media positioning, creative development, and best practices aimed at adolescents.

The agenda begins at 3:00 pm. Dr. Brian King, Director of the Tobacco Center, will be speaking.

The online seminar will be free to attend, but registration is required beforehand with no deadline. The seminar can be accessed via computer or mobile phone, and live captions and American Sign Language interpretation will be provided on-site.

Chonburi Police Raid Major E-Cigarette and Vape Liquid Warehouse Worth Over US$920,000

Thailand Chonburi provincial police, in coordination with multiple agencies, raided a large-scale warehouse in downtown Chonburi used for producing and distributing e-cigarettes and vape liquids. Two Chinese nationals were arrested, and more than 40 categories of contraband—including vapes, e-liquids, and production equipment—were seized, with an estimated total value exceeding US$920,000 (about 30 million Thai baht).

Police dismantle a network of 50+ stores selling unmarked nicotine products in the Moscow region

TASS reported that police dismantled a distribution network in the Moscow region selling nicotine-containing products, e-cigarettes and vapes without mandatory markings, with organizers earning more than 10 million rubles per month (more than about $130,000). Interior Ministry spokesperson Irina Volk said some items were labeled with counterfeit identification tools of the Chestny Znak system, while others had no codes.

Cambodia MoT warns: Businesses using vaping and shisha will have their operating licences revoked

Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism has issued a new directive prohibiting all tourism service establishments from possessing, selling, importing, storing, or advertising e-cigarettes and shisha-related products. Violators will face written warnings, suspension of operations, or even revocation of their tourism business licenses. The measure is part of a nationwide ban enacted under Sub-Decree No. 02 BB, issued by the Royal Government on October 21.
