FDA Updates Import Alert List to Include Lagom Nicotine Pouches.
FDA updates "98-06 Import Alert" list, allowing seizure of Lagom nicotine pouches from Belagom AB without physical inspection.

Recently, the United States FDA updated its "Import Alert 98-06" list, also known as the "Red List". The updated guidance from the FDA states that customs officials can now detain tobacco products listed on the red list of this import alert without conducting physical inspections.

The product that was included in the "red list" this time is the nicotine pouch brand Lagom from the Swedish company BELAGOM AB.
