Flare E-Cigarette Manufacturer Responds to Formaldehyde Allegations, Stresses Product Certification
The CEO of Flare, an e-cigarette brand, has denied allegations from Safe Vape Ph regarding the presence of formaldehyde in its products. The CEO emphasized that Flare e-cigarettes meet the highest safety and quality standards and have received the necessary certifications to ensure their compliance.

According to a report by Tribune on December 4th, CEO Paul Jefferson Vivas of Apex Pacific Corporation, the manufacturer of the e-cigarette brand Flare, responded to accusations made by Safe Vape Ph. He stated that the accusations of Flare e-cigarettes containing unpermitted formaldehyde components by Safe Vape Ph have damaged Flare's reputation.

"This assertion is completely false and baseless. Flare has adhered strictly to the highest safety and quality standards, undergoing regular third-party laboratory testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. All our products are certified under the Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act (RA 11900)," said Paul Jefferson Vivas, president of Apex Pacific Corporation.

Vivas stated that analysis from an independent laboratory confirmed that Flare products only contain standard levels of formaldehyde. Vivas also refuted the accusations from Safe Vape PH regarding Flare originating from the banned e-cigarette brand Flava by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in the Philippines and being involved in black market distribution channels.

"This is not only untrue but also damaging to our credibility and commitment to lawful operations. We have consistently collaborated with regulatory agencies, including the DTI, to ensure full compliance with legal requirements for the manufacture, distribution, and sale of our products," Vivas said.
