PMI's IQOS ILUMA, a heated tobacco product with new induction heating technology, is set to launch in Montenegro this month.

According to the news from Vijesti on November 23rd, Philip Morris International (PMI) will introduce its heated tobacco product IQOS ILUMA to the market in Montenegro this month.

 

The latest IQOS ILUMA introduces a groundbreaking SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology that utilizes induction technology to heat tobacco without combustion, significantly reducing the production of toxic substances.

 

Montenegro is a mountainous country situated in the southwestern part of the Balkan Peninsula, on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. Serbia is located to the northeast of Montenegro, Kosovo to the east, Albania to the southeast, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Croatia, to the northwest. The Adriatic Sea lies to the southwest.

 

According to Statista data, the e-cigarette market revenue in Montenegro is projected to reach $1.3 million in 2023. The market is expected to have a compound annual growth rate of 4.14% from 2023 to 2028. The popularity of e-cigarettes in Montenegro has surged, with an increasing number of locals and tourists opting for this alternative to traditional smoking.
