Japan Tobacco (JT) has announced a new flavor for its Ploom brand’s premium EVO smoke sticks: “EVO Honey Lemon Crystal.” The product will be rolled out in stages, beginning with an early release through official channels in December 2025, followed by a nationwide launch across convenience stores and tobacco retailers in January 2026, priced at JPY 550 (approximately USD 3.7).

2Firsts, December 16, 2025 According to PR TIMES, Japan Tobacco (JT) has announced plans to introduce a new smoke stick flavor, EVO Honey Lemon Crystal, under its Ploom brand of heated tobacco products. The product is scheduled for an early release starting December 16, 2025 through the CLUB JT online shop and Ploom Shops across Japan, followed by a nationwide rollout at convenience stores and tobacco retail outlets from January 16, 2026 

 

The new EVO Honey Lemon Crystal is positioned as a dual-profile flavored product that combines the refreshing zest of a lemon flavor capsule with the mellow sweetness of honey, aiming to deliver a balanced sensory experience.  

 

JT stated that with the launch of this new flavor, it remains committed to broadening its product lineup to better meet diverse customer needs and to continually enhance its products and services.  

 

In terms of specifications, EVO Honey Lemon Crystal is designed for use with Ploom devices, contains 20 sticks per pack, and is classified as a flavored type. The suggested retail price is JPY 550 (tax included, approximately USD 3.7), and it is compatible with all Ploom heating devices.  

 

According to 2Firsts earlier reports, the Ploom Aura platform has recently added two new EVO smoke sticks — Evo Black Menthol and Evo Fresh Mint — which were launched in the Japanese market on December 1. Additionally, the existing Evo Cold Menthol underwent a formula upgrade in mid-November, expanding the EVO mint flavor range to three variants.  

 

JT also noted that the Ploom smoke stick lineup now totals 27 different variants, covering a wide range of flavor preferences and strengthening its product portfolio within Japan’s heated tobacco market.
