According to Romania Insider, Japan Tobacco International (JTI) has announced a regional leadership change: Gabriella Offeddu will take up the role of general manager for JTI Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria from January 2026, replacing the current general manager Alexander Pitchka. JTI said Pitchka will continue his career development in the company’s Western Europe region.

 

Public information shows that Offeddu is Italian and has international leadership experience across the tobacco and fashion industries. Prior to this appointment, she served as Vice President, Marketing and Sales Portfolio Strategy at JTI’s Geneva headquarters, and previously held the role of general manager at JTI Ireland.
