Japan Tobacco collaborates with creative designer Kosuke Kawamura to launch a limited edition heated tobacco device, the "Ploom X Advanced Stripe Blue.


The device features a "paper tearing art" design, and limited edition accessories are also being released.


On March 3, Japan Tobacco (JT) announced on its official website that it would release a limited edition version of the "Ploom X Advanced" heated tobacco device designed by creative designer Kosuke Kawamura starting on March 4. The new product, called "SPECIAL EDITION STRIPE BLUE BY KOSUKE KAWAMURA," is priced at 980 yen (about $7) and can be purchased by consumers at the CLUB JT online store, national Ploom physical stores, and convenience stores.


According to Kohei Kawamura, the new product utilizes its signature "torn paper art" design, aiming to provide consumers with a pleasant visual and tactile experience, blending the device with artwork.


To coincide with the release of this limited edition device, JT also collaborated with Yasusuke Kawamura to launch a promotion for limited edition accessories. The promotion is taking place at Ploom X CLUB and various Ploom Shops, where consumers can purchase special edition front panels such as "Aqua Bouquet", "Rose Bouquet", "Olive Bouquet", as well as limited edition accessories like the "Stripe Blue" cigarette holder tray.


It is reported that Koji Kamimura is a Japanese artist known for his unique collage paintings and paper mache crafts. He has served as the Creative Director for the UNIQLO T-shirt brand "UT" and collaborated with brands and creators in various fields such as Adidas, Seiko, and ARC'TERYX.
