Recently, 2Firsts noticed that after the release of the Adjust My Cool and Adjust Myflavor 40K e-cigarettes, which offer adjustable cooling and flavor levels, the e-cigarette brand Lost Mary has launched the Adjust Mysweet 40K, a product featuring a 4-level adjustable sweetness control function.

Specifically, the Lost Mary Adjust Mysweet 40K has the following product features:

Lost Mary has launched several e-cigarette products recently that all feature the term "Adjust" in their names, and each is equipped with a flavor adjustment function. This may indicate that Lost Mary is planning to establish a new sub-brand centered around the concept of "adjustment."

Compared to the previously launched Lost Mary Adjust My Cool and Lost Mary Adjust Myflavor 40K products, the new models maintain the same characteristics of featuring 20ml of e-liquid and 40,000 puffs.

However, in terms of flavor adjustment, these products allow users to modify the cooling intensity and adjust the ratio of two different flavors (A and B) to achieve a customized taste experience. Currently, there are not many e-cigarettes on the market that offer adjustable "sweetness." Distributor websites have also claimed that the Lost Mary Adjust Mysweet 40K is "the world’s first disposable e-cigarette with four levels of sweetness adjustment."

Australia Tobacco Tax Debate Spreads Within Labor as NSW Premier Minns Reaffirms Support for a Cut
Australia’s tobacco excise debate is increasingly exposing differences within the governing Labor Party. New South Wales Labor Premier Chris Minns reaffirmed on September 8 that he supports reducing tobacco excise, arguing that current tax settings are pushing consumers toward cheaper black-market cigarettes. Federal Health Minister Mark Butler continues to oppose an excise cut, while Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Assistant Treasurer Daniel Mulino have recently stopped short of ruling out future changes. The divergence follows the opposition Coalition’s proposal to cut tobacco excise by 80%.

Malaysia’s Vape Rules Face Review as Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad Addresses Dropped Nicotine Appeal
According to Free Malaysia Today on August 26, 2026, Malaysia’s Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad said the Health Ministry would explain the government’s decision to withdraw its appeal against a High Court ruling involving the exemption of liquid nicotine used in vape products from the Poisons List. JAMA Issues First U.S. Clinical Guidance on Vaping for Smoking Cessation, Urging Complete Switch From Cigarettes
JAMA Issues First U.S. Clinical Guidance on Vaping for Smoking Cessation, Urging Complete Switch From Cigarettes
JAMA has published a Special Communication offering systematic recommendations for U.S.-based clinicians on the use of nicotine e-cigarettes in adult smoking cessation. Developed by the Harm Reduction Workgroup of the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco’s Treatment Research Network, the paper recommends including e-cigarettes alongside FDA-approved cessation medications in risk-benefit discussions. It cites high-certainty evidence that nicotine e-cigarettes achieve higher quit rates than nicotine replacement therapy and evidence suggesting efficacy comparable to highly effective medications such as varenicline and cytisine. For adults who choose vaping to quit, the authors recommend FDA-authorized products, sufficient nicotine delivery and a rapid, complete transition away from cigarettes rather than prolonged dual use.
