Beyond Vape and Tobacco in Grand Island, Nebraska, has experienced two thefts within 5 months of opening.

According to a 2023 report by KSNB, Beyond Vape and Tobacco, an e-cigarette and tobacco store located in Grand Island, Nebraska, has experienced two theft incidents within just five months of its opening.

 

The authorities have reported that during a recent case of burglary, the alarm of the store in question was triggered on Thursday morning. Upon arriving at the scene located on North Walnut Street, the police immediately discovered footprints leading from the premises to the outside. Following these tracks, law enforcement reached Trinity Lutheran Church, several blocks away, and swiftly apprehended the culprit, 63-year-old Richard Holmes, who was hiding inside the church.

 

The police have discovered a small pipe on Holmes and subsequently arrested him on charges of theft. The process of breaking into the premises did not result in any damages to the shop.

 

In addition, Beyond Vape and Tobacco store experienced a theft in October of this year.
