Fabrizio and Ward wrote in a memo on public opinion that "this issue will impact swing voters - those who do not vote along party lines and make decisions in closely contested elections - and could potentially give the Republican Party the edge in this fierce competition for House seats. A poll shows that the Trump administration's crackdown on illegal e-cigarettes and their retailers has received overwhelming bipartisan support, with 65% of respondents expressing strong support. Support for enforcing laws against selling e-cigarettes to minors was even higher, at 77%.
