PMI Collaborates with Moroccan Artist for Limited Edition IQOS ILUMA Series
Philip Morris International (PMI) collaborates with Moroccan artist Yassine Morabite, launching limited edition IQOS ILUMA series products.

According to a report from Morocco's leseco on December 6th, Philip Morris International (PMI) announced a collaboration with Moroccan artist Yassine Morabite to launch a limited edition IQOS ILUMA series product.

 

PMI has stated that it has drawn endless inspiration from Moroccan art. Through collaboration with an artist who brilliantly combines cultural authenticity with a modern style, PMI is not only seeking to respect the artistic heritage of African Amazigh, but also aiming to make breakthroughs in the heated tobacco experience of IQOS ILUMA.

A multi-agency, intelligence-led enforcement operation took place on January 27, 2026, targeting vape and convenience stores across Wirral, including West Kirby, to disrupt the supply of illegal tobacco and vaping products. Six premises were inspected, with approximately 10,500 illegal cigarettes seized along with vape pods that were not in original packaging or did not meet UK regulatory requirements.

Daegu’s Jung-gu District announced on Feb. 10 that, following amendments to the Tobacco Business Act that explicitly classify liquid e-cigarettes containing synthetic nicotine as “tobacco” (effective April 24, 2026), the district will expand regulations to include fines for vaping such products in designated nonsmoking areas. The district health office said smokers/vapers could face an administrative fine of up to 100,000 won for using synthetic-nicotine liquid e-cigarettes in smoke-free zones
