PMI Collaborates with Moroccan Artist for Limited Edition IQOS ILUMA Series
Philip Morris International (PMI) collaborates with Moroccan artist Yassine Morabite, launching limited edition IQOS ILUMA series products.

According to a report from Morocco's leseco on December 6th, Philip Morris International (PMI) announced a collaboration with Moroccan artist Yassine Morabite to launch a limited edition IQOS ILUMA series product.

 

PMI has stated that it has drawn endless inspiration from Moroccan art. Through collaboration with an artist who brilliantly combines cultural authenticity with a modern style, PMI is not only seeking to respect the artistic heritage of African Amazigh, but also aiming to make breakthroughs in the heated tobacco experience of IQOS ILUMA.

Local governments across South Korea recently issued press releases saying they would intensively crack down on the use of liquid e-cigarettes in smoke-free areas. Since the revised Tobacco Business Act, passed in December last year, included liquid e-cigarettes within the definition of tobacco and took effect on April 24, local authorities had prepared to begin enforcement immediately.

Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said an amendment that would give Russian regions the power to ban vape sales is planned for adoption in May. Volodin said the decision concerns the health of citizens, especially children. The Texas Supreme Court issued a case summary on May 8, 2026, describing its decision in Hancock v. RJR Vapor Co. LLC. The dispute centered on whether RJR Vapor’s VELO oral nicotine pouches are taxable as “tobacco products” under the Texas Tax Code. Lower courts had held that the pouches were not taxable tobacco products, but the Texas Supreme Court reversed, concluding that VELO pouches are taxable because they are made of “a tobacco substitute.”
