PMI Collaborates with Moroccan Artist for Limited Edition IQOS ILUMA Series
Philip Morris International (PMI) collaborates with Moroccan artist Yassine Morabite, launching limited edition IQOS ILUMA series products.

According to a report from Morocco's leseco on December 6th, Philip Morris International (PMI) announced a collaboration with Moroccan artist Yassine Morabite to launch a limited edition IQOS ILUMA series product.

 

PMI has stated that it has drawn endless inspiration from Moroccan art. Through collaboration with an artist who brilliantly combines cultural authenticity with a modern style, PMI is not only seeking to respect the artistic heritage of African Amazigh, but also aiming to make breakthroughs in the heated tobacco experience of IQOS ILUMA.

On Jan. 10, Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach issued a consumer alert warning Kansans about dangerous vaping products from China marketed as “smart vapes.” The alert says these devices let children use games, social media, Bluetooth, music and more while simultaneously inhaling unregulated materials, and describes them as designed to entice teens and conceal their nature from parents.

According to a statement from Finland’s Ostrobothnia Police, officers seized more than 6,000 e-cigarettes during a home search in the Haapaniemi area of Vaasa in early January, after the case surfaced in connection with drug enforcement work.Police suspect the products were ordered from abroad for resale in Finland and were marketed and sold via Telegram.

According to UNN, law enforcement in Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region disrupted a group accused of selling illegally produced nicotine-containing mixtures and e-cigarette e-liquids without licenses or permits. The Prosecutor General’s Office said the overall value of the seized items exceeds UAH 12 million (about US$276,000). A cross-sectional analysis based on the US NHANES 2021–2023 cycle, including 6,262 participants aged over 12, found that compared with people who neither smoke nor vape, those who smoke and/or use e-cigarettes had a higher prevalence of elevated blood pressure and hypertension. After full adjustment, smoking/vaping was associated with elevated blood pressure (aOR 1.34) and hypertension (aOR 1.46), and with a 1.05 mmHg higher diastolic blood pressure.
