Philip Morris Moldova Introduces IQOS ILUMA Smokeless Tobacco Device
Philip Morris Moldova launches new IQOS ILUMA heated tobacco device to expand smoke-free product range, targeting adult smokers and nicotine consumers.

According to reports from local media, Philip Morris International (PMI) Moldova has launched the latest heated tobacco device IQOS ILUMA in the country to expand its portfolio of smoke-free products. This device is primarily targeted towards adult smokers and nicotine consumers.

Elena Naumenko, General Manager of Philip Morris International (PMI) in Moldova, added: "The decision to introduce IQOS ILUMA in Moldova is an important step for us, as each product launch requires a significant amount of resources and effort. With the expansion of our smoke-free product portfolio, we have increased our local team, expanded our sales network, and built the necessary infrastructure. Just this year alone, we have invested approximately $1 million in the launch of the latest smoke-free device in the local market.

Philip Morris International (PMI) estimates that more than 20 million adult smokers around the world have completely abandoned tobacco products in favor of using PMI's smoke-free alternatives.

The IQOS ILUMA is equipped with SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology, which heats tobacco from the inside without the use of heating blades. This means the device never needs cleaning as there is no tobacco residue inside.

It has been reported that the smoke-free products developed by Philip Morris International (PMI) have been rolled out in over 80 markets worldwide.
