Recently, according to Colombian media outlet lafm, Philip Morris International (PMI) has launched its new generation of heated tobacco device, IQOS ILUMA, in Colombia. The device has already been officially introduced in markets such as Spain, Japan, and Switzerland.

The IQOS ILUMA primarily utilizes SMARTCORE™ heat induction technology, which heats tobacco from the inside instead of burning it, making the device smokeless and residue-free.

Local consumers can now purchase the IQOS ILUMA through the official website, by calling the hotline, or by visiting national retail stores. Existing users who wish to upgrade to the new device can receive a discount by returning their old device when purchasing the IQOS ILUMA.
