Japan Tobacco Inc. launches new "Mevius baize option" product under Ploom X ADVANCED brand, featuring pear and mint flavors.

According to sources from Japan's Kakaku, Japan Tobacco Inc. has globally launched a new product under its heated tobacco brand "Ploom X ADVANCED" on March 18th, called "Mevius baize option".

 

This product is marketed for its unique "pear flavor" and 100% natural mint extract, containing 20 electronic pods with a refreshing mint taste. All mint flavors included in this product come from natural sources. It is priced at 500 yen.

Reynolds American says it will invest more than $3.2 billion across its U.S. operations by 2030. The investment began in 2024 and is expected to support more than 2,000 direct and indirect jobs. British American Tobacco is facing a shareholder lawsuit in London alleging it failed to properly disclose to markets information about breaches of U.S. sanctions linked to its North Korea-related business.
