PRAM Semiconductor announced on November 22nd that their e-cigarette business is progressing smoothly, experiencing growth amidst increased demand in the market.

On November 22nd, Puran Corporation stated on the interactive platform that its MCU e-cigarette business is progressing smoothly. The demand for e-cigarettes in the industry has seen a certain level of growth compared to other sub-sectors this year. The company is currently in a phase of continuous expansion.

 

Puran Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a supplier of low-power SPI NOR Flash memory chips and high-reliability IC EEPROM memory chips, which are used in various smart terminals such as mobile phones, computers, and wearable devices.

Responsible Vaping Ireland (RVI), an Irish vape retailers’ group, has released a policy paper urging Ireland to swiftly introduce Revenue-issued tax stamps on vaping products to strengthen enforcement of the E-Liquid Products Tax (EPT) and to tackle tax evasion and the illicit market. Provisional Department of Finance figures show €1.3 million collected in November and December 2025; at that pace, annualised receipts would be €7.8 million, below the government’s projected €17 million.

The Canada Border Services Agency said border officers at the Point Edward port of entry in Sarnia, Ontario, seized more than CAD 4.5 million worth of illegal tobacco and nicotine vapes over a seven-day period. A cross-sectional analysis based on the US NHANES 2021–2023 cycle, including 6,262 participants aged over 12, found that compared with people who neither smoke nor vape, those who smoke and/or use e-cigarettes had a higher prevalence of elevated blood pressure and hypertension. After full adjustment, smoking/vaping was associated with elevated blood pressure (aOR 1.34) and hypertension (aOR 1.46), and with a 1.05 mmHg higher diastolic blood pressure.
