On November 22nd, Puran Corporation stated on the interactive platform that its MCU e-cigarette business is progressing smoothly. The demand for e-cigarettes in the industry has seen a certain level of growth compared to other sub-sectors this year. The company is currently in a phase of continuous expansion.

 

Puran Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a supplier of low-power SPI NOR Flash memory chips and high-reliability IC EEPROM memory chips, which are used in various smart terminals such as mobile phones, computers, and wearable devices.

According to UNN, law enforcement in Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region disrupted a group accused of selling illegally produced nicotine-containing mixtures and e-cigarette e-liquids without licenses or permits. The Prosecutor General’s Office said the overall value of the seized items exceeds UAH 12 million (about US$276,000). Bernama reported that comedian Shahmira Muhamad, better known as Shuib Sepahtu, was fined RM10,000 (about US$2,460.93) after pleading guilty to promoting an electronic cigarette product on a YouTube podcast in 2024. The magistrate ordered one month’s jail in default of payment, and he paid the fine.
