Russia Plans Significant Reduction in Tobacco and Alcohol Consumption by 2030
Russian government plans significant reduction in tobacco and alcohol consumption by 2030, health minister Mikhail Murashko reports to Duma.

According to Interfax, on February 26, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko reported to the State Duma that the Russian government plans to significantly reduce the consumption of tobacco and alcohol products by 2030.


By 2030, Russia plans to reduce per capita tobacco consumption by 14.4%, and alcohol consumption by 8.5%.
